Valero is a big guys standing 16.3H. He originally was at a kill auction in the states with another horse. Lindsey’s friend, Melissa, spotted him and took him home to get him started under saddle…. jumping out of the 6ft round pen definitely caught her eye that this horse had some serious jumping potential.
Valero got trained under saddle and was sold to a lady that continued his training and showed him in Florida. She ended up becoming ill so when he came back on the market in spring on 2019 Melissa reached out to Lindsey and arranged for Valero to come to Canada.
He has worked out to be such a nice easy going horse, definitely a cookie monster, but a super quiet and comfortable ride. He has taken part in the lesson program and one of his students fell in love with him. Melody ended up buying Valero.
Valero still boards at the farm and is part of our lesson and camp programs while owned by Melody. We definitely love the big goofball!
