I just wanted to give a BIG thank you to yourself, Caileigh-Anne and Lindsey for such a wonderful first experience!

From booking to teaching to the end of our session, everything was amazing!  The girls have not stopped talking about it, and have definitely caught the riding bug lol!  We will definitely be back in the near future and I will keep an eye on the website for session times.

If you would like to put us on a mailing/email list for events and specials that would be wonderful!

Again, I am sincerely grateful for all the guidance and the experience, and look forward to speaking to you again in the future.

Lindsey taught a clinic at Sprucehaven Farm in Ingersoll ON this past weekend. With 10 horse/rider combinations and 12 auditors both days, it was a weekend FULL of education. Lindsey has an amazing calming quality that she passed onto the students and did a couple demonstrations that confirmed that calmness with some young OTTB’s. She spent time with each of the participants and thoroughly explained her philosophies and why she did what she did. Excellent clinic highly recommend her techniques to add to your tool box!!

Spent the weekend at one of Lindsey’s clinics and it was great! It was a nice breath of fresh air. She gave me some inspiration and some much needed insight into horsemanship. I would do another one if she came back

I attended the Clinic at Sprucehaven Farm in Ingersoll,Ont.Jan.27/28. This was one of the most amazing and informative Clinic I have taken. Lindsey is an excellent teacher and is so much fun. She explains everything in an easy manner that you understand! I learned so much about myself and my horse Trigger. Lindsey has given me the tools and the confidence to be able to bond with Trigger in an amazing way! Thank you Lindsey for all you have taught me. Trigger thanks you too!!

Can I say how much I love your program! It works! I never knew I would be so comfortable bareback bridleless with nothing but my horse and I. With every session we just continue to open new doors and find new fun things to learn!  What freedom! Melissa E

I am a low-level eventer in the U.S. who has been working my 8 yr. old thoroughbred through your online course.  It’s hard to believe how far we have come in so short a time! Here is a little about myself and my horse:

Last August, I was offered this horse because his rider had bought him to be an eventer, but they had not meshed well together and the horse had hurt his rider’s confidence because he often threw her.  The rider had tried to put him in training with a few different trainers, but they had all refused to take him after learning that he sometimes reared. This is perfectly understandable, but it left the rider in the same predicament.  During this time, I was starting to look for another horse who had the potential to take me higher in the eventing levels. Consequently, because I knew this rider and horse well, I agreed to try the horse and see if I could handle him.  Everything went relatively well until I started jumping him, then I learned where his problems lay. I fell off about twice every time I jumped him for the first few weeks, usually when he combined a spook, spin, buck, and rear into one perfectly executed movement.  As I learned more about him I realized that he simply had no incentive to try for any rider, so I decided to really work on our relationship. I started working with him using your course in November, 2016 and it is almost unbelievable what a change has occurred. Two days ago I took him off property for our first outing of the year and I could really see how much he was trying for me. Today I jumped him bareback/bitless! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and making it accessible to everyone who wants to learn about your fantastic methods.  I am excited to see how far my horse and I can go as we continue building on this foundation. I also am excited to see you and Bowdrie competing together, what you do is amazing!

Thanks again,

Abigail Blair

“We just wanted to say how very much my daughter Mackenzie and I enjoyed your clinic. She has been studying techniques similar to yours to work with the horses she rides. “Mackenzie has been working with many of the skills and tools you discussed on Saturday. This horse is people sour and had a unfortunately harsh rider. Oh my gosh…he let her touch him tonight. Again…you have no idea how much joy you have brought to my daughter in pursuing her goals!!”

“This was the best clinic I had ever participated in!”

“Hi Lindsey! I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful time this past weekend and for all of the information that I will put to very good use!

I keep thinking of your saying “match your horses energy, not his emotion” and I realized that you could use that very same mantra in our human relationships. Especially with our kids. I have a really slow, laid back child who I just want to scream at “hurry up!” (In all honesty, sometimes I do, lol) and in order for me to truly raise an emotionally healthy and to truly have a strong connection with her, I need to appreciate her for where and who she is first and foremost.

And in my job as a therapist, it’s all about meeting clients where they are at. Just because we know a behavior may not be healthy for a person, doesn’t mean they are ready to change it. So it’s important to meet them where they are at and make a connection as a first step. Only with that connection can there be hope for change. Both you (and Shadow) solidified that knowledge for me.

So I just wanted to say thank you for giving me so much more insight as a horse person, a future Equine Specialist, a mother AND a therapist.

In May, I am supposed to talk to my entire staff about what equine facilitated psychotherapy is and how it is beneficial. I was wondering if you had any videos or ideas that might be particularly helpful in showing them how powerful it can be that horses can mirror our own emotions (hence my getting bit several times- which in and of itself forced me to look inside myself) and how working with equines can demonstrate the importance of connection. Which is the Basic step 1 in all relationships.

Thank you again Lindsey and I hope to take another training with you again!!” Michele MS

“Lindsey I want to thank you again for this weekend…I went to pick up Revi today and went into the indoor to work for a few and then let him stretch his legs…been locked in a stall for 4 days (not normal for him)  So I did a reverse square and a few regular squares then I unhooked his leadline and did a few more squares then I went on longer square and jogged and he trotted with me (I have a hard time getting him to trot in hand at all) and then I slowed to a walk and he walked with me then stopped…then I did it again..same results!!   Then we stopped and started pawing the ground so I did too and he laid down again. After that I let him “free play” I urged him to trot around and he trotted and cantered around the arena and had a blast when he was done he stopped looked at me and I walked up to him and reclipped leadline and that was it! Thanks! Sorry this is so long….also is this the bit?” Chrissy D

“Hello Pat and Asa. I just took an amazing Workshop with Lindsey as part of my equine education requirements for my goal of becoming a Path certified equine specialist in mental health and learning. It has helped me better understand connection and just how important that connection is on so many levels, which will help me both personally in understanding and working with my own horses, as well as professionally in the work that I will do in equine facilitated psychotherapy.  I have been a mental health professional for many years but I am new to EFP. I was wondering if you had any videos or resources that I could use to help educate the rest of my staff on what EFP is, and how powerful it can be. Thank you so much for any advice or help in this process!”

What I love and appreciate best about the kind of work Lindsey Partridge and her Harmony Horsemanship program provides – is that the connection or bond of trust that is established between horse and human – is not only good for that lone individual horse’s progression forward – but it is the kind of thoughtful life enriching activity that produces a sterling sense of good character and patience in the human being involved as well – that has potentially far more positive outreach for that individual person when interacting with others who are also just as every bit in need of a compassionate heart and soul as any of the animals they are working with.

Long story short – Harmony Horsemanship – is good for people – because as well as experiencing the beauty of forging a bond of trust with the magnificent equine it helps to bring out the humanity within its participants as well.”

She is amazing in what she teaches and inspires. My daughter has been utilizing her methods ever since and seen results. We hope she will be back.”
